We are very excited to announce that the long anticipated launch date for the GelMoment debut in the United Kingdom has been set to coincide with our 1st anniversary. On Jan 5th, 2016 we will begin accepting enrollment for GelMoment in the UK.

I live in the UK, when can I join GelMoment as a Distributor? When can I order Products?

Starting January 5th, 2016 at 12:01am GMT, residents of the UK can join GelMoment as a Distributor and begin ordering products.  Join early to be a part of our GelMoment 500 Drama Queen Club!

 

What is required to join in the UK?

To be a GelMoment Distributor in the UK, you will need a permanent address in the UK and you will have to provide your legal name at time of joining.  You must be at least 18 years old. If you are 16 or 17 years old, you can join with the co-application of a parent or guardian.

 

How do I join?

Visit: https://gelmoment.com/ or join through a sponsor of your choice. You will receive your own personalized website; this will enable you to become a sponsor to others, as well as bring people to your own website to purchase products.

 

How do I find a sponsor?

If you know a distributor and would like that person to be your sponsor, go to their GelMoment Distributor website and join their team.

If you don’t have a Distributor you would like as a sponsor, join through our main website at www.gelmoment.com and we will help you find one. 

 

What is the GelMoment 500 Drama Queen Club?

The first 500 people to become Distributors in the UK with GelMoment will be part of the 500 Drama Queen Club.  To be eligible for this exclusive one time offer, you must purchase the GelPower Package for £189.00. (For details of what is included in this package please see Enrollment Packages section of this page)  Drama Queen Club Members start off at the 3rd level in the compensation plan allowing them to earn more commissions by having access to more levels in their down line. These spots are limited and are only being offered to the first 500 people that join.  All rank requirements outlined in the compensation plan must be met to retain the level for the following year. You would also be required to pay an annual web maintenance fee of £39.00 and EWallet annual fee of £19.00. For the first year, web maintenance fees and the EWallet fees are included with all enrollment packages.

How much will I earn in commissions as a GelMoment Distributor?

 

GelMoment™ offers a comprehensive commission program geared to generate a maximum return without being complicated in structure. It is based on a straight percentage of purchases that are clear-cut and easy to calculate.

This is of course in addition to revenues generated from selling products to consumers. When products are sold at the recommended retail prices, resellers will earn a 36% profit margin.

In addition to the 36% profit earned on every product purchased, you can earn 3 separate bonuses and commissions:

Please note that Gel Incentive Credit can only be earned through rank advancement achieved by meeting the necessary requirements. Gel Incentive Credit can be used to purchase GelMoment products of your choice. Gel Incentive Credit is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for money.

 

Starter Kits

GelMoment does not impose a starter kit on its Distributors.  You have they liberty of purchasing the products of your choice using the credit that comes with each enrollment package.

 

Credit – What can it be used for?

 

Credit received from your enrollment package can be used to purchase GelMoment products, excluding promotional items, convention tickets and Marketing materials.

 

 

Are there any annual fees?

 

Yes, you are required to pay a £39.00 annual website maintenance fee and a £19.00 annual EWallet account maintenance fee.  Both fees are included for the first year with your enrollment package. You will receive a notice through your back-office when these fees are due.

 

 

When purchasing GelMoment products, do Distributors pay wholesale or retail prices?

 

When purchasing products online, distributors are charged wholesale prices.  You must be logged into your website to have access to wholesale prices.  Customer ordering on your website will be charged retail prices. In order to have access to wholesale prices, a distributor must have a paid membership and the account must be active by having met the necessary requirements.  Annual EWallet and website maintenance fees must be up to date.

How much am I permitted to order?

There are no restrictions on purchases, other than during the first week of membership. The maximum a Distributor is permitted to order in the week which they have joined is £200.00.

 

When will goods begin shipping out to Distributors?

The warehouse will begin shipping out goods on February 1st, 2016.

 

Shipping Summary

All orders for the UK will ship from our Distribution center in the UK.  All orders will ship at a flat rate of £6.50 for orders under £50 and £7.50 for orders that are £50 or more.  Orders will take up to 2 business days to process and up to 2 weeks to be delivered, depending on location.

I live in the UK, who can I sell my GelMoment products to?

GelMoment™ products cannot be sold into a retail shop (see Salon policy for exceptions). Other than that you can sell to whomever you want to. Please note that if a customer purchases directly from your website, we will facilitate shipping directly to the UK (including Wales and Scotland) only.

 

Will orders placed on GelMoment’s UK website be charged VAT?

GelMoment products sold in the UK will include the standard VAT rate of 20%.  

 

What currency are GelMoment products offered at in the UK?

All GelMoment products sold through our UK website are priced in GBP.

 

What kind of support and sales tools will I receive as a Distributor?

Your sponsor is your first line of support and your go-to person for all your questions and guidance.  GelMoment has a full training manual accessible through your back-office that will help you through every aspect of your business.  There is a specially dedicated support email through head office, where you will receive any additional help you may require.

 

I live in the UK, where am I allowed to recruit?

As a Distributor, you can recruit people that live in any of the countries that GelMoment operates in; Canada, USA, Australia and UK (Including Wales and Scotland).

 

What is EWallet?

 

EWallet is a service provider that GelMoment has partnered with. All of your commissions and bonuses will be paid through your EWallet account.  An automatic email will be generated when you join GelMoment, inviting you to register and open your new EWallet account. What is the shelf life of GelMoment products?

 

GelMoment Gel polish has a shelf life of 12 months for opened bottles and 36 months for unopened bottles.

 

GelMoment Cuticle Serum and Nail Oil have a shelf life of 24 months for opened bottles and 36 months for unopened bottles.

 

Is GelMoment Gel polish safe to use on children?

GelMoment Gel Polish is safe to use on children with adult supervision.

 

 

Online Parties

There is no Party program with GelMoment.  You can bulk order and ship to your Guests or place individual orders.  Orders will be shipped to the address indicated on the invoice under “shipping address”.

 

Product Credit and Gel Incentive Credit

Product credit and Gel Incentive Credit never expires as long as your account is active and annual fees are paid.

 

Can a different brand of LED or UV lamp be used to cure GelMoment Gel polish?

Yes, other brands can be used.  However, polish may not last up to 14 days and dry times may vary.

 

Can a different brand of remover be used to remove GelMoment Gel polish?

GelMoment remover pads are specially formulated to work with our Gel polish. Results may vary if using a different brand of remover.

 

What is the wattage of GelMoment’s LED lamp?

GelMoment’s 60 second LED lamp is 6Watts.

 

Does the GelMoment LED lamp come with replacement bulbs?

GelMoment’s LED lamps are guaranteed for life; therefore no replacement bulbs are required.

 

Can GelMoment products be sold in salons or Spas?

GelMoment™ products may be sold to and displayed in a Salon or Spa that is an independent single establishment and not part of a chain or franchise. If the following criteria are met, the size of the establishment or number of employees does not matter.

 

These rules also apply to Salon and Spa owners or employees who wish to sign up and become distributors. 

 

 

What is the difference between LED and UV lamps?

GelMoment is pleased to clarify the differences between traditional gel manicures and the GelMoment experience.

 

All light gives off a certain amount of UV light, including the sun and every other body of light.  It is important to limit that exposure. With this in mind it is important to know that traditional UV lights are considered to be absolutely safe.   A 2013 independent study found “UV nail lamps exceeded safety expectations. These lamps were found to be significantly less hazardous than expected based on the initial concerns raised by others. The researchers found that UV exposure is so low that a person could put her hands under a nail lamp for 25 minutes a day without exceeding the internationally accepted safe limits for daily workplace UV exposure. The data showed that UV nail lamps were safer than both natural sunlight and sunlamps.

Regardless, a traditional gel manicure, goes through a three step process, which necessitates going through the traditional UV lamp three times, this can be up to ten minutes per nail. The beauty of the GelMoment experience is that there is only one coat for 60 seconds, so that this absolutely limits any exposure to any UV rays.

LED lamps also emit a certain amount of UV light. The greatest advantage they have over the traditional UV light is that the amount of time exposed to the light is cut down to a third. In addition the LED light has over 50 000 hours of use; enough for a lifetime.

Since GelMoment only requires one coat of product, and does not need any base or top coat, it becomes far easier to remove, and in fact anecdotally we have heard from many of our customers already that they have felt their nails becoming stronger and less brittle after trying the GelMoment experience. This too is the reason why it is far easier to remove and actually leaves no damage to the nail. Even when using the GelMoment nail pusher, it is just the polish that is removed and the nail is left intact.
